Abundance Wimbledon (once part of Transition Town Wimbledon) is a free-standing group using surplus fallen fruit to feed people receiving meals from various local charities and to make jams and chutneys for sale at the annual Fruit Day. The event provides lots of fun for the community and funds the following year’s activities. The fruit is picked from trees around Wimbledon, or may even be growing in private gardens due to the owners being unable to harvest/use it.
