Earth Day 2016 is happening on Friday 22nd April and you can celebrate by cycling to work!

This day is the perfect time to appreciate our planet and to think about what we can do to solve the environmental issues that face us today.

Some of the Earth Day Network’s aims include addressing climate change, planting more trees and divesting from fossil fuels to make cities 100% renewable. Encouraging and convincing more people to cycle to work will help to achieve some of these.

Now in its 46th year, Earth Day reminds us to be environmentally friendly and to keep working to ensure the world is a safe place for us and for future generations.

Show your support for this by cycling to work on this day and encouraging others to do the same!

Cycling to work has a number of benefits, including being environmentally friendly, saving money, burning calories and relieving stress. And cycling to work on 22nd April 2016 also gives you the chance to be a part of Earth Day.

Use the hashtag #cycling2work2day on Facebook and Twitter on 22nd April to share your ambitions of cycling to work.
