Green Academies and Tooting and Mitcham Community Sports Club are working in partnership to develop a new training course in Groundsmanship and Land Management.

The course is aimed at young people who have grown up playing sports and could develop an interest in how pitches are built and maintained and a potential career in the industry.

Get Involved!

To kick-off the programme, Green Academies are holding an event at TM United on 2nd June for 14-24 year olds try out a range of taster activities and rate them to help design a course that really fits needs of local young people.

There will also be information about apprentices and industry professionals to get the young people thinking about where the course could take them.
