Community Fridge E-Bike Courier (Rider)
Sustainable Merton is looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join its small, passionate Community Fridge team to support food collections and deliveries by courier (e-bike) and food storage duties.
Sustainable Merton’s Community Fridge has been in operation since 2020 and works to reduce food waste and support people experiencing food insecurity. Our Community Fridge was selected as a pilot for national environmental charity, Hubbub’s Food Connect scheme - a pioneering, zero-emissions approach to redistributing surplus food that would otherwise go to waste.
Please note that this is a part-time, job-share position.
