Power your home through solar energy
Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has published his Solar Action Plan, which outlines his ambition for more of London’s energy to be generated by solar technology. It is estimated that schemes like Solar Together could more than double London’s current solar energy capacity.
In partnership with the Mayor, Merton has been joined by 10 other London boroughs, all working together using group buying to unlock significant savings from suppliers.
Solar Together brings together households and local government to get high-quality solar panels at a highly competitive price. As a Merton resident, you can register your interest in having solar panels installed on your home through the scheme.

How does it work?
1) Registration
Register for free when the next round opens (details will be updated on our website). You need provide details of your roof, like its size and position. The more people that register, the better the deal for each household. Registration does not commit you to anything.
2) Auction
An auction is held where pre-vetted installers submit their lowest prices. Your personalised offer: following the auction you will be contacted with a personalised offer, based on the specifications of your roof. This includes your costs and specification of your solar panel installation.
3) You decide
The decision is then yours as to whether you want to accept your offer. There is no obligation to continue.
4) Installation
If you accept the offer, the winning supplier will contact you to schedule a survey of your roof and set an installation date.
