"I have always used a milkman and tried to encourage others to do so. My argument being that glass bottles are more sustainable than plastic ones, as they can be reused endlessly. Milkmen also provide a vital service to house-bound people and deliver a wide range of goods as well as milk - I get fruit juice too. Having milk delivered to my door in glass bottles is very satisfying, especially as it reduces my use of plastic. I shall definitely continue to use the milkman!
