Want to make friends, learn a creative skill, reduce your textile waste, and save money? Join Project Preloved: The social sewing community for those who can’t sew (but want to give it a go!).

In this final workshop of our Project Preloved series, workshop leader Trish Ann (The Aunty Shan) will teach intermediate upcycling techniques for giving old textiles a new life. You'll learn how to turn an old tote bag into a cushion and create a dust bag/laundry bag out of an old t-shirt.

Although this workshop is a follow-on from workshop 2 (Beginner upcycling projects), it is also suitable for people with basic sewing skills who want to learn more.

.................................................

Project Preloved is a series of 4 free beginner sewing workshops that will give you the knowledge to make your clothes last and, at the end of their life, upcycle them into something new. From basic stitching and mending techniques to upcycling your old t-shirt into a scarf, Project Preloved will cover it all!
