Hi, I’m Serena!
I was fortunate enough to have been able to spend a week with Sustainable Merton completing a work experience placement.
During this time I took part in a multitude of tasks, from helping out with running gardening clubs at local primary schools, to attending Green Coffee and discussing issues relating to our local environment and beyond.
I think it’s fair to say that this week was a lot more useful to me than if I had just been making teas and coffees – the typical work experience tasks.
Overall, my week was thoroughly enjoyable and informative; I garnered a wide breath of information which I am certain will prove invaluable to me in the future, and I am very thankful for the opportunity.
