About The Event
This Clean Air Day, donate your used bikes to our Pop-Up Bike Drop Off and support a good cause. In partnership with The Bike Project, all bikes will find a new home with refugees and asylum seekers. Help others discover the joy of cycling!
REGISTER YOUR DONATION HERE and choose Sustainable Merton's Clean Air Day Pop-Up from the drop down list of events.
The Bike Project does an amazing job collecting bikes which have been abandoned, or are no longer needed. Their team fixes them up to donate to refugees to be able to get safely and cheaply around London (most asylum seekers are prohibited from working and live on £5.75 per day). At the minute it is also offering free online repairs and support to NHS workers.
If you’ve been using lockdown to clear out your garage or garden, save an old bike from languishing and give it to a good home.
What bikes do we accept? We accept adult and children’s bikes in all conditions, however we do not accept donations of parts, accessories, or scooters.
