About The Event

Join Richard Inwards, Health, Safety and Environment Manager at Summit Exploration and Production Ltd. for a webinar on the future of power in the UK. We'll discuss the role of Hydrogen as the 'fuel of the future' and the impact this transition will have on our energy system and the average person.

The current government strategy is that by 2050 natural gas will have been replaced by BioMethane and Hydrogen in the domestic supply. This will have an impact on the national gas supply and even our own house boilers (as these will need conversion to burn hydrogen). Obviously there is no CO2 output from burning hydrogen just water so it has great potential to be a game changer.- Richard

Richard has over 30 years of experience in the oil industry working for majors, small independents and service companies within the UKCS.

“After 30 years of drilling wells around the world, this is the biggest change in my industry I have seen. I am proud to say that the UK is heavily at the forefront of it.”

Come along to learn more and ask any ‘burning’ questions!
