Make Your Own Tote Bag Workshop

Get creative and turn preloved fabric into something practical, stylish, and uniquely yours! This friendly, hands-on workshop gives anyone aged 12+ the opportunity to learn how to make their own reusable tote bag while developing practical sewing and textile skills.

Working with preloved fabrics, participants will learn how to measure, mark, cut and construct their own tote bag. You’ll be guided through each stage of the process, from preparing your fabric to using a domestic sewing machine to assemble your finished bag.

This workshop is fully funded, making it a great opportunity to learn new skills, get creative, and help reduce textile waste. This is a practical, creative workshop for anyone aged 12+. Some previous sewing machine experience is recommended, as the session will involve using sewing machines to construct the tote bag.
