Spotlight Garden Open Day

Mitcham Community Orchard and Gardens has been selected to be Capital Growth's Spotlight Garden for November 🌱🍂 

On 27 November, we will be opening up the orchard and gardens to showcase our climate features following from COP26. We'll be inviting the local community and other community gardens from Merton and throughout London for a tour of the garden, highlighting our climate friendly features, followed by a discussion on the role community gardens play in preserving our planet.

We'll also be getting our hands dirty and invite visitors to get involved with some garden activities around our wildlife pond and hedges. An event for all the family, refreshments will be provided. Places are limited so book now to take part.
