About The Event
Join us for our next Weekly Web Chat where Linda Murgatroyd, clerk of the Quaker Arts Network and Founder of the Loving Earth Project will share a short video and answer your questions about this wonderful local community project.
About
The Loving Earth Project aims to help people engage creatively with environmental issues without getting overwhelmed. It invites people to explore how our own activities may impact on the future of one particular thing, place or person that we love, and what we might do about it. People are invited to make textile panels for a community textile project, to share our discoveries and actions through a travelling and online exhibition. The project is highly suitable for lockdown, and a range of online resources are being produced, including online chats for people who want to make panels.Â
After a short presentation Linda is happy to answer questions and we may wish to discuss the possibility of making a specific Merton-based set of panels. Join us to find out more!
