Looking back over 2020 our Mitcham Community Orchard and Garden has been a blessing as a refuge for wildlife and a green space that has provided those much needed times for personal wellbeing and reflection.
A big shout out to the wonderful team of volunteers who have nurtured, cut back, created and done more cutting back! They have transformed the Orchard to be an oasis of fruit trees, wildlife and garden in an urban environment and I thank each one of them for their commitment and participation. It has been a privilege to work with such a great group and I, for one, look forward to being there with them to see the rewards of their hard work in 2021.
