Crafting the Wandle: Meet our Voters’ Choice winner!

A huge congratulations to Annemarie Pallister, who has been crowned the winner of the Voters’ Choice Award for the Crafting the Wandle exhibition at Canons House!

Annemarie’s beautiful slow-stitched panel captured the most votes from visitors to the exhibition, earning her a fantastic prize: a free short course of up to 10 weeks at Merton College, of her choice.

Annemarie’s work was a wonderful example of the creativity and craftsmanship showcased throughout Crafting the Wandle, an exhibition by Sustainable Merton and Merton College celebrating the River Wandle and the communities, stories and inspiration connected to it.

Coming a very close second was Wendy Day, whose stunning stained-glass piece, Under Wandle, also caught the imagination of visitors. Wendy has won a free workshop with Sustainable Merton’s Preloved Studio.

Congratulations to both Annemarie and Wendy, and thank you to everyone who visited the exhibition and took the time to vote!
