The Wheel Project Manager
Are you passionate about waste reduction and the circular economy? Do you want to be part of a dynamic team making a real difference in the local community? We are now recruiting a Project Manager for The Wheel!
The Wheel (thewheelmerton.org) aims to connect local waste reduction initiatives in the London Borough of Merton and build capacity in the local community to re-use and recycle products and materials whilst continuing to encourage residents and businesses to adopt waste reduction strategies.
As Project Manager, you will build on a successful first year for The Wheel and deliver an ambitious forward plan that will see work continue within the project's 3 strategic pillars: a digital hub, community waste reduction initiatives and resource-efficient high streets, and focus on communication, behavioural and infrastructural interventions.
Location: London Borough of Merton
Contract: Fixed term contract through to 31st March 2024, on an employed or self-employed basis
Hours: 28 hrs (4 days) per week with effect from 1st July (2 days a week from appointment until then to allow for handover/dual running with current staff member)
Salary: £28,000 for 4 days per week (FTE £35,000)
